HPSIM first installation in a Linux Server
Hi Everybody,
Im trying to deploy for the first time a the installation of the HPSIM agents in a linux server, from the HPSIM interface.
The answer for every attempt is that the HTTP port is closed. But the port in the server is opened. The configuration of the server's firewall accepts info through this port.
I even ran a port scan from my HPSIM server and the port is open.
The server is a Red Hat Enterprise AS release 4 (Nahant Update 1) kernel version 2.6.9-11.Elsmp
The HPSIM is version 5.0
What can I do to deploy the agents?

Re: HPSIM first installation in a Linux Server
Hi,
This could be an issue with SSH not properly configured on the CMS. To test this theory I would goto tools .. > Command Line Tools ... > Windows... > netstat
Run a netstat on the local cms see if ssh allows you to run the netstat locally if you are sucessful then apply the same process to the remote server that you are trying to deploy the intial support paq to. If at any point ssh fails you will not be able to deploy the software.
