HP SIM plus basic features are for free.
licensing concerns are only necessary if you want to use any of the essentials.
Please provide mor information about your (planned) setup.

Hi,
just take the manual:

page 47 explains the autmatic event handling.
As this is a basic feature of HP SIM, no need to concern about any licensing.
