HTTP 400 Bad Request

Hi,

One of my colleagues is having problems loggin into HP SIM. When he enters his login ID and password, he gets "Page Cannot Be Found". At the lower left side of the browser, it shows the message: "HTTP 400 Bad Request".

To my knowledge, he's the only one experiencing this problem. At first I thought it was the version of Java on his laptop, but then I saw him try to log into HP SIM right at the server's console w/ the same results.

I deleted his account from the HP SIM database and re-created it again, granting him FULL ADMIN rights, still the same results.

What could be the cause?

Thanks!

Re: HTTP 400 Bad Request

Please, disregard. I found a workaround in the HP SIM forum.

Re: HTTP 400 Bad Request

The workaround is to use the following URL when trying to log into HP SIM:

http://servername:280

I don't quite understand why connecting via port 280 would make this work, yet it does.
