iLO and SIM Integration
I have recently started connecting the iLO ports on my DL360 G3's at some of my remote sites. When I configure the SNMP/Insight Manager Settings, the servers name changes in SIM.
I have included a picture of the settings I am using. "SIM IP Address" is replaced with the IP address of my SIM server, and "Local Server" is replaced with the DNS name of the individaul server that I am configuring. After I have made these changes I reboot the server. When I run an automatic discovery in SIM it changes the servers name to the iLO's name and none of the links to get to the management agents work, the version control agent on the server also no longer trust the SIM server.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I would like the servers to ideally keep their original names, and I definitely want the links to the agent pages working again.

Re: iLO and SIM Integration
I think that this is due to your SNMP passthru setting.
I have seen this before, I personally have set my iLOs / RILOE's up so the agent traps to the CMS through the O/S and not through the iLO. Therefore only having iLO sending traps generated by the iLO and having the Agent traps and SNMP pass through disabled.
I may be incorrect in my configuration so any other feedback is welcome.
