Install software trust issue

I'm attempting to install a new psp on server A by using SIM. The problem is that when I go to select a repository, it says that my VCR (on the same server that SIM is running on) isnt trusted. But server A does in fact trust the SIM server, and has it selected as the repository with an older PSP as its baseline.

How can I fix this so that I can push out the new psp?

Thanks,
Tim

Re: Install software trust issue

If you login to the System Management Homepage for the computer that has the Version Control Repository Manager installed, does it prompt you for a password? If so, it is not trusted.

Another test is to try to use the Version Control Agent on the SIM server and see if it sees all the VCRM information.

Re: Install software trust issue

Thank you for pointing that out, I had to reinstall SIM recently and forgot to reinstall the new certificate so that the server trusted itself.

Simple fix that I just glazed over :).
