Installation-upgrade , reboot and bigs problems
Hi,
i have a problem with my installation of insight 7.20
I deploy a package 7.20 on a DL360 with insight 7.00
The package contain all drivers and all Agent and software
i did this with a command line like this :
D:\repository> setupc.exe bc00015.xml
the installation goes right until it upgrade the network driver. I recieved an error message the os says that he cannot launch the new driver
I clik OK and reboot the server after the installation finish.
after the reboot i have some big problems :
https://server:2381 -> gives me the 7.20 interface on anonymous
I click on "logout" -> and the navigator, load the old interface 7.00 !
i tried to shutdown all the HP services i can always reached https://server:2381
i found no process on memory.
i need help, if someone have an idea.

Re: Installation-upgrade , reboot and bigs problems
There were some problems with earlier versions of the PSP and a Network driver. 7.20 is now quite old, and I cannot recall all of the details.
You could try searching through this forum as the issue was discussed.
From memory I had to delete and rediscover the network device and then install the new driver to work around the problem.
It was restricted to a certain kind of NIC if I recall correctly.
