installed Hp Performance Management Pack error?

Have installed IM4.1 on a win xp . All very standard.But,installed Hp Performance Management Pack error.
Error message:
Hp Performance Management Pack was unable to creat the HP Performance Management Pack database.Aborting the installation.
Can anyone guide me please. appreciate any help

I had the exact same error after uninstalling and reinstalling IIS. First I would get an alert on Windows Startup saying PMP wasn't working. I uninstalled and have not been able to complete the reinstall.

I am having the same error message when trying to install PMP from the HP SIM 4.2 bundle. Does anyone have an answer?
