Integrate custom data to SIM

What I want to do is to send a custom data into the SIM system running a script or exe file. For example:

By snmp trap or WBEM subscription or something else, I send a "just a test" to SIM,  and SIM can show this event on the user interface.

Is that possible to do this? thanks.
