Is a BIOS update required?

is a BIOS update required on all models of proliant servers to upgrade from IM7 to SIM 4.2?

Not that I'm aware of, why the question?

You should try and keep the BIOS up to date but it is not a pre-requisite for HPSIM 4.2.

The question is because the agents 7.2 require to upgrade the BIOS because it would not read all the information from the server.
