Keeping PMP running?!?!?!

I cannot keep PMP running consitently.

I have found multiple times that the PF status for my servers are green but if I click on them I get no repsonse. I then look at the PMP services they show running. Look at the database size to see if it has grown and after 20 mins up to an hour it has not. I then resort to restarting the service. I have also found times that I have had to go back into the admin of PMP to restart logging on my servers again because it mysteriously stops. and yet again shows up green for the PF status in SIM.

This guess work on if it is running or not, is getting REALLY frustrating. Especially if performance data is asked for from our supervisors and "well the program showed it was working but in reality we have no data for that time frame, sorry?!?!"

I want to see if anyone else has seen these issues? If not I will probably be on the phone soon!!!

Similar but typically after I've been doing something with either HPSIM or the Backend Database Server.

I agree, PMP does sometimes report a Green Tick when in fact it is not actually doing anything. Click on PF and it goes to the Admin/License Page!

If I've been restarting things my workaround can be;
Select All Servers in the PMP Config screen and stop all monitoring. Restart the PMP Service. Reselect the Servers and re-enable monitoring.

Probably not a lot of help, but at least you know you're not entirely alone!
