Migrating CIM7 Notification Tasks to SIM Automatic Event Handling

With CIM7 I created Event Queries that I used in Notification Tasks.

To do the same thing with SIM Automatic Event Handling, I can use a combination of (Step2) Select Events and (Step 3) Select Systems.

Am I corret to assume that SIM Event Lists have nothing to do with Automatic Event Handling Tasks? Are they only used to filter the events you see in the browser?

Is there a white paer about migrating CIM7 Notification Tasks to SIM Automatic Event Handling?
