Migrating Data to SIM
I've been using IM 7 for over a year and am tryin to move to SIM.
SIM won't let me migrate the data because it says I don't have SP 3.2 installed, but I can't install SP 3.2 because it tells me the software is already present.
Any clues? I can't move to SIM unless I can migrate my data.

Re: Migrating Data to SIM
Hi Nicole.
You can export devices from IM7 using the hosts file option and import them to SIM but this won't migrate the tasks you have created like eMail tasks.

Re: Migrating Data to SIM
Actually after looking thru their code I found the problem. It's another coding mistake.
This SP is looking for the wrong text string, so you need to make the actual text string match the string looked for by the code.
Go to the globalsettings.props file located in c:\program files\hp\insight manager sp2\config\ folder. Find the following string â Insight Manager 7 (v3.0.1) Service Pack 2â and replace it with the following â Insight Manager 7 Service Pac
