Moving HP SIM SQL DB.

Hi sorry if this is the wrong place.

 

I am wanting to move our SIM SQL DB from the server it's currently on (is running on same server as the front end) to a dedicated SQL server. I have looked through some of the upgrade documents, we are currently on SIM 6.2 but i'd like to just move the backend before upgrading the version if this can be done?
