MS events mib
Hi all,
problem regarding mcompile of evntagent.mib (example in attachment)
after running mcompile evntagent.mib error is:
Line: 40: Error defining OBJECT IDENTIFIER: invalid registration for security
Mib compilation failed.
events are redirected to cms with right snmp service configuration and with use of evntwin.exe and evntcmd.exe.
can anybody help me with interpretation of windows events to HP SIM?
thnx

Re: MS events mib
I had a similar problem once and the problem was with the mib I had downloaded. I downloaded the mib from somewhere else and everything worked fine.
