MSSQL DB support for SIM 5.2
Hi All,
I'm running HP SIM 5.1 SP1 on a full version of MSSQL 2000 SP4 (standard) and am looking at upgrading to SIM 5.2 - all the readme's and forum messages meantion SQL 2005 or Oracle.. does 5.2 support MS SQL 2000 standard for its upgrade?
I'm having a lot of problems with Blade Essentials at 5.1 and can see 5.2 has more fixes and functions in this area so I would like to upgrade but want to keep the database I have and would like to keep the specific SIM DB with its data intact during the upgrade as well.
Anyone?

According HP SIM QuickSpecs - Yes
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/11824_div/11824_div.html
Look for Database software:
"Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Standard or Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 4 (remote or local)"

Re: MSSQL DB support for SIM 5.2
Thanks.. The "CMS stuff is a little confusing, but if you read the architechture stuff closely you can see the proper relationship to the spec.
