MXPASSWORD High CPU Usage
Hi there
we have recently reinstalled SIM 5.1 over an old installation due to the previous version not really being used.
We have around 70 servers, all with previous HP agents installed (version control etc). Only a small amount have been updated with the latest Support Pack, agents, etc.
Since the reinstallation "mxpassword.exe" has been thrashing the CPU of the CMS.
I also changed the password for the system account for SIM a while back but am pretty sure that I changed all dependencies.
If I switch on "login event activities" it generates unauthorized login attempts by the minute.
My question is, would this be due to the servers with the old HP agents on them trying to communicate with the CMS?
Any advice appreciated!
