New at SIM
I have a server running, which one is collecting information of some running ProLiants and HP printers ...
But i have also alot of unmanaged systems in my overview, mostly HP DC7100 and Notebooks . .is it possible to manage these items also with SIM ???
if so how . . if not, what is a other solutions next to SIM

oke no workstation support directly in SIM, what is the best way to do management of all other unmanaged items ???

If you install client utilities for desktop and workstation, you can also collect data from suc PCs. This software is also included on Proliant Essentials CDs.
If you use hardware other than CPQ/HP (and some models other vendors) yo can import MIB file into SIM database.

Oops, solutions that I described are available to version 6.4.
Now you have to use MIB import procedure (in SIM) or use HP/Altiris client Manager software
