newbie question

I'm looking for just getting alerted on hardware failures, such as hard drives. Which event category would I select for getting Hard drive failures or other specific hardware.

Frank, try setting up the Automatic Event Handling, where severity is critical and severity is major. Oh, that is if you have your e-mail setting set up. see attachmet

Found the answer, Just had to dig through the .MIB information.
