Notifications - Email / Pager

Has anyone found a way to have SIM generate an email when a server goes "unavailable" but then generate a page if it stays "unavailable" beyond a certain time frame? Haven't seen anything on this in the manual or on the forum yet.

Any ideas greatly appreciated,

hi brain,

i think it is not exactly what you want, but maybe it will help. go to options > events > automatic eventhandling > new task. select a name and at the point of selecting events, choose "where EVENT CATEGORY name IS SYSTEM INSIGHT MANAGER EVENTS and type name is SYSTEM IS UNREACHABLE" then select system and at actions take e-mail notification....
