Problems with HPSIM 4.2
Hello Guys,
I have a problem with my HPSIM authorization. At the moment the authorizations for my users are >>>NONE RIGHTS, MONITOR TOOLS and ALL SYSTEMS. The views and options for the users are fine but one feature is to be absent. They can view the Event Log but the cannot delete the Logs. For their work they need this option so I must set the role to FULL RIGHTS. But now they can also delete Systems, Tasks and have altogether to much rights. How can I resolve the problem that they can only delete Event Logs? I hope you can help me. thanks for solutions
best regards
Sebastian

Re: Problems with HPSIM 4.2
Hello
I find in the HP SIM Guide that for deleting events must have Full Configurtion Rights.
-----------
Leave authorization for your users NONE, MONITOR TOOLS and ALL SYSTEMS
If you create new custom toolbox (Options\Security\Users and Auth.... tab Toolboxes) and in the menu "Show tools in category" select Configuration tool you can select Delet events and add them to the left field. Then make new authorization for those users and in the Tools select your new toolbox.
After this the users can Delet Events under Options\Events\Delete Events in the console.
But only badness is:
When this tool runs, it will act on
all events in the selected list at that time.

Re: Problems with HPSIM 4.2
Hello,
we have the problem, that our operators should have the possibility to assign themselves to events and to commentate and clear them, but they should not have any rights to delete the events (systems,tasks,ect.).
