PRS and SIM
We want to upgrade to SIM. Will PRS work with it the same way it does with CIM7?
Thanks

Re: PRS and SIM
You should contact your HP services representative for information regarding PRS.

Re: PRS and SIM
I agree with David, The product is so new and support for it is still at a very early stage. If your environment is running fine with IM7, I would recommend that keep it running for a few months and run SIM in a test environment.

Re: PRS and SIM
We rely on this service very heavily, and it works hand-in-hand with CIM7.
Our decision to move to SIM hinges on this working with it.
Does anyone else use this service at all?

Re: PRS and SIM
I think this is a case of someone will need to be first!
We don't use PRS here, how does it talk to CIM 7? and how do you get CIM 7 to forward events?
Most of the functionality from CIM 7 is replicated, but there are a few gotchas around the equivalent of the Application Launch feature in SIM, namely its reliance on OpenSSH.
