PSP 7.10 to PSP 7.30

PSP 7.10 to PSP 7.30

Anyone had a few teething problems with the above upgrade? I have configured the components as I have done previously but when you ist try to contact the hompeage via HPSIM it forces a login and imports the certificate of the CMS only on the 1st login. All this is included in the configurable component so I can't understand why this is happening.

Also the trust is lost after the upgrade, and finally has anyone had a problem with the online update bombing out, we have decided to pull from the console of servers instead of pushing from hpsim.

I saw this behaviour with 7.40 but not with 7.30.
There's an update to the SMH above the version that's in the 7.40 PSP that fixes the loss of Trust issue.

As an FYI, there is an HPSIM 5.0 loss of trust issue that there is a fix in the works for. If you are experiencing the HPSIM issue then updating the SMH will not help.

Rich,
Does that mean there are two separate issues then?
I found that the SMH update fixed the issue where Trust details were not being repopulated by the Agent.

Yes Rob, the SMH issue had to do with actually resetting to defaults your SMH settings, including trust. However, there is an issue that is being seen with HPSIM 5.0 on some other threads here. It is a timing related issue that there is a fix for (and I believe that if you call support that they can get it to you by request if you are seeing the problem) and hopefully will be released soon but because of the nature of the issue it is not seen by everyone and in some cases may only be seen sporadically by some people.

Cheers, guys but I'm on HPSIM 4.1.

I will bear in mind the problem with 5 cause that's my next step.
