"Failed to create indication subscription" error when repairing settings and agents
I'm running server 2003 and SIM5. When I run the tool to repair all of the settings on a target, everything works fine except this error in the stdout:
Failed to create indication subscription
Does anyone know what this means and how do I fix it?
Thank you,
-Allister

Re: "Failed to create indication subscription" error when repairing settings and agents
Hi Allister,
To create WBEM subscriptions you need to have wbem running on the managed node and the managed node must be identified using wbem in the CMS.
To identify a system using wbem enter the correct credentials in the global protocol settings page and run identification on the managed nodes.
Now run the wbem subscription on those managed nodes which are identified using wbem.
Also if you feel wbem subscription is not necessary, you can uncheck "Create subscriptions for WBEM events" in "Configure or Repair Agents" and run the tool.
