Replicate Agent Settings to Dell Servers
Am I able to do this? I was hoping to at least replicate snmp settings (we're trying to create a standard), but I receive an error telling me that SMH is not installed.
I can connect (though the HP SIM console) to each server and go through the Dell Server Administrator to change these settings one server at a time, but I was hoping to be able to distribute these settings in one job.
We are mostly an HP shop, but we have a few Dell servers and I'd like to be able to manage them as much as possible through the SIM console. Is SMH required to be able to do this? I assume I can't install this on Dell servers.
Thanks.

Re: Replicate Agent Settings to Dell Servers
Correct, this is a feature of the System Management Homepage which is not installable on the Dell servers. HP SIM expects to see the Dell agent there are uses that. If your servers are in an AD tree, you could use a Group Policy Object to set SNMP parameters on the non-HP servers. Otherwise, yes, it will be mostly a manual process unless you are able to find some scripted method of doing it.
