Is there a way to purge the database for reports, I ran a report on server disk space and now i want to run a new one on the same servers to show the space available after some files and folders have been moved?

There is a default task "Bi-Weekly Data Collection." You can manually trigger it to gather data to reflect a change such as what the new disk space statistics are.
