Selective download using VCRM

Could I restrict VCRM to download updates for Windows Server 2003 for my DL380 G4 servers and newest versions only? Or complete newest PSPs only?
Thank you.

I don't think you can restrict the automatic downloads.
But you can just manually download whatever you want into the Repository Directory structure.
I tend to use that approach rather than the auto-downloads.

Re: Selective download using VCRM

If you want Windows Server 2003 PSP's to be autodownloaded, then configure Windows server 2003 systems alone to point to the repository. Do not point any other systems running OS like win2k or NT to point to the repository. In that way VCRM will download all the versions Win2k3 PSP's alone.
If you have pointed other OS to this repository then you can delete it through VCRM UI so that it will not be downloaded again.
As Rob said, you can download other OS PSP's manually and place it in the repository.

Re: Selective download using VCRM

Windows Server 2003 x86 systems only pointed to the repository in my case. Nevertheless I see updates for Windows Server 2003 x64 and 64-bit editions, Windows 2000 in the repository. It seems to me that there was updates for Windows NT and even for Windows XP, but I am not sure, because I have deleted many components from repository manualy and now I do not see them.
The one more problem is I have DL380 G4 systems only, but VCR download components for many server models.
