Send out MSI package

Can you send out MSI packages from HPSIM? If so, how do you do it? I have an update to 150 servers to do.

Yes it can, but it will take a little work to create the tool. You'll need to create an XML tool definition and then add it to HP SIM. Check the reference at http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/hpsim/info-library/mxtool.4.html and look for the COPY BLOCK statement.

damn...thats difficult! I think I will use rapid instead, the problem is that it only have 10 servers in the database. I have to manually put the others in there. But if I install rapid on the HPsim 4.1 sP1 server(that contains over 300servers) will it automatic import the servers into rapid?
