Server Error On SIM
HI,
I've got a bit of a strange issue on one server on SIM 5 SP4. I've upgraded all of the HP drivers on a DL580 running Windows 2000 SP4, everything on the server is fine, but on SIM, the product name and the OS name are not listed AND when I click on the SWStatus link for the server, the Version Control agent does not open. From the Identity tab of the system page for the server, the software status link is black, not blue. This server was working fine before I updated the drivers. Any suggestions? I've completed the same updates on other servers with out any issues, which suggests its a local server config/trust issue.

Re: Server Error On SIM
I wonder if the agents are running? Check the SNMP settings and any 'new' firewalls or such install on the server.
I assume the trust was setup previously, maybe click on the HS status and see if you single-signon into the agent. If not, make sure System Mgmt Homepage (browsing to https://server:2381) is setup for trust.
Weird. Did you log a support case?

Re: Server Error On SIM
Hi Darrin,
I reinstalled the foundation agents and the systems management homepage from the Version Control Manager and it all sprang into life.
Thanks for mail anyway!
