Server name not appearing in SIM

Having a reporting issue in HP SIM with servers not updating information. The management website on the server seems okay, version control setting are correct, and SNMP settings on the server are right. But the SIM sight does not update the discovery information for that server. Any ideas?

Do you have a reverse lookup zone? SIM uses this to resolve the server name.
Try
ping -a from the SIM server and see if the hostname is resolved.

Before I looked back at this post, I did just that. There was a couple of mislabeled ptr records in the RLZ. I've made my modifications, and will wait until our automatic discovery tonight.
