Use DHCP supplied Gateway: Yes
Use DHCP supplied DNS servers: Yes
Use DHCP supplied WINS servers: Yes
Register with WINS servers: Yes
The network setting looks fine.

SolutionThe discovery process should associate the Management Processor with a device. If you want a System Name to be other than the IP Address then you'll need to look at setting permanent IP Addresses and updating your DNS for them. You'll need both forward and reverse DNS Lookup entries.

The System name is populated from DNS only.
HPSIM is trying to be more open, therefore it relies on the OS independent DNS.

dns,wins,routing,linkspeed etc. is always the same in our enviroment, so maybe there is the possibility of an "automated" ilo-setup ?
