SIM 4.1 login hang

New install of 4.1 on Win2003 Server hangs at logon. HAVE APPLIED PATCH - states it was already applied.
Error at bottom of IE - com/hp/mx/portal/applet/baseapplet/testapplet (unsupported major.minor version 48.0)

Any thoughts?

I have worked through this problem recently with a pc that had multiple versions of java loaded. Try to uninstall all java, reboot, and install j2re1.4.1_04 (found at http://java.sun.com. Then attempt the Insight Manager shortcut again. It may ask you to install java plug-in again. Good luck.
