SIM 5.2 SP2 and Domain Controllers

Before I promote a W2K3 SP2 standard server to a domain controller, the server works well sending alerts to SIM. However, after I promote it the server no longer sends alerts. Firewall ports are open for the DC's behind them. Also I have DC's on the same subnet as SIM. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Check to see that the agent services are still running. After promotion to DC the local accounts the agents were installed under may no longer be valid.

Additionally, if this is being promoted into an existing domain, make sure there are no group policies that have changed your SNMP config.

we run the services under local system. I compared one DC reporting to one SIM system to another DC reporting to a different SIM system and they are similar except for the trap destination name.
