SIM 5.2 with remote MS SQL Server

Hi to everybody,
I need to install SIM 5.2 DB on a remote MS SQL Server.
Customer gave me a DB (SIMDB) under an existint SQL Server INSTANCE (ITRMS047).
Am I able to use that DB or do I need a full new INSTANCE to do it ?

I post that question because when I choose SQL Server in Database Configuration, SIM doesn't give opportunity to choose the Database and Port (there is only "master" and "1433" gray written) but only INSTANCE.
