SIM 6060 Spam
I am running SIM 5.3.1 SP1 monitoring TRU64.
I have a server that continues to send 6060 spam, making it difficult to collect valied alerts, and filling up my database.
Does any know how to stop that snmp traffic, either on the config file or some place else.
I have the insight stop until i find a way to stop the info 6060 alerts.
Thanks for any help on this.. //

Re: SIM 6060 Spam
You can disable the handling of this type of SNMP trap:
1) click on one of the alerts
2) scroll all the way down to "Mib Information" and note the MIB file name and identifier
3) got to Options->Events->SNMP Trap Settings
4) select the appropiate trap and set "Enable Trap Handling" to "No"
