SIM and BLADE Enclosures
Hi,
I have 3 blade enclosures and a 1u power enclusure.
When i run a discovery on SIM some of the blade servers (16 BL20p's and 8 BL25p's)are shown with the right association the the enclosure they belong to. There are some which have no association.
How can i manually associate the servers? or do i need to upgrade a particulare firmare. If so how?
Many thanks

Re: SIM and BLADE Enclosures
I have also came across the same problem that can be fixed by searching the said server record and then deleting it. After deletion, manually add the server record again (Options -> Discovery -> Manual)

Re: SIM and BLADE Enclosures
Thanks for the reply.
I tried this, but it has not worked.
I am in the process of upgrading the ILO FW, Rack FW and Switch Firmware.
Then i will remove the blades and rediscover.
A HP engineer send me a .bin file to update the ilo a while back, do you know where i can down load this type of file?

Re: SIM and BLADE Enclosures
Go to http://www.hp.com/servers/swdrivers and get the Component Pack. When you execute it, select the Extract option to get the .bin file.
