Have recently setup several Netware 6.5 servers with Insight Management Agents v7.00.
Trying to manage the servers from HP Systems Insight Manager 4.1 and there doesn't appear to be an administrative login/password for the Netware servers. Only anonymous. Therefore I can't mark any errors as repaired in the Management log.
How do I setup this Administrative login to enable resets from SIM? In the past when I have installed previous versions of insight management agents there has always been an 'Administrator' login.
Thanks
Lenny

Solution
Netware agents login anonymously, but you can login as Admin, just go to "Device Home" and click on the "anonymous" next to Login account. This brings up the login page where you can log in as Administrator, default password is "administrator" unless you've changed it.

Re: SIM cannot reset Event Log on Netware Servers
Thanks very much for that info. I can't find this documented anywhere. I'm sure this was not the case on all our old Netware servers as you used to be able to select from a drop down list box consisting of anonymous, administrator, operator and user.
At least it's working now. Much appreciated.
