I am in the process of setting up and configuring a new SIM server.
Everything is going all ok, but just one "glitch" (So far!)
When I open ie and type in https://Servername:50000 I get a java dialog box open. It states that there is a hostname mismatch and that the hostname in the server security certificate does not match the name of the server.
Hostname of the URL = Servername
Hostname from the certificate = Servername.domain.com
I have tried tried adding a new server certificate with just the servername, and you can't edit the certificate with the.domain.com so not sure what to try now
Many Thanks In advance

Re: SIM - Hostname mismatch
Click on Options -> Security -> System Link Configuration and you can use either just the system name, or the full DNS name..
