Sim managing linux server

Hi ,
I am having HP SIM 5.0 for managing the Linux server cc3310 , running RHEL 3 . The status is unknown.
What agent do I need to install on that linux server .
It would be very helpful if anyone provides the solution .

unknown status has shown up for me for various reasons, windows or linux.

always check your snmp settings, and any other mgmt protocols that you want to use on the box

also try and run your daily identify tasks at times when the network is not heavily used. outside of business/backup times.

unknown status means that it was able to ping the server but none of the management protocols configured returned any information

so look into the network between SIM/Target as well as protocol settings
