SIM Reports

I'm trying to generate a clear yet concise report on the various SIM agents deployed throughout our enterprise. We're on SIM 5.1, all of the reports I've generated seem to have the agent information buried well within the report. Any clues?

Thanks,

Zeek

Zeek:

You may be going about this a little backwards. Rather than try and figure out what's out there, you should be trying to figure out what systems are not at your selected baseline, such as the most recent 7.7. Version Control is designed to do this and take the administrivia out of combing through reports looking at version numbers and cross-referencing to see what dependencies are.

Set your target baseline for all the systems, do a software data collection and anyone not on that version will show up. Then it's a simple matter to distribute the PSP to the non-compliant systems.

You can stay at the target baseline as long as you want (though common wisdom would indicate you don't want to get more than a couple of versions behind).
