SIM Unmanaged Servers
I have recently applied SP1 to SIM and all my servers are now coming up as unmanaged. Before the SP they were being recognised as there exact model numbers.
I have tried installing the new management agents and I have reset up the trust by certificate.
Anybody shed any light on the issue
Stephen

Re: SIM Unmanaged Servers
The HPSIM Patch should not have changed any connectivity.
Unmanaged indicates that it can ping the device buth there's no ability to interrogate the device.
Check SNMP Settings on the target devices. Especially if they're W2003 that they are either allowing all SNMP Hosts or that you've entered the IP Address for Localhost and the HPSIM Server.
As to another poster, MS04-025 broke HPSIM, HP have posted a patch available via the HPSIM Web Pages to address the problem.
