SIM5.1 Newbie
Greetings all!
I recently got SIM5 up and running. All of my servers seem to be reporting in. I am trying to figure out the best plan to get the all servers settings consistent. Currently some are trusting by name, cert, invalid VC repos, old agents\drivers etc.
What order should I configure everything?
For example, should I update agents first, get trusts working, push out VC repos settings, etc?
Does it even matter?
My ultimate goal is to get all clients trusting the SIM server by certificate as well as getting the agents upgraded. I really do not want to update drivers or install the full PSP unless we see issues.
Thanks!

Re: SIM5.1 Newbie
There's a few things you can do, the order doesn't really matter.
The agents can be configured to contain the Trust by method as well as certificate if that's the way you're going.
So yo could configure those, plus the VC Agents and those clients that need updating will have their details updated at the same time.
You can replicate setting using HPSIM, that is easier once you have the trust established.
In the past I've created a new Baseline PSP containing just the SMH configured with the required certificate and used the Deploy feature to just deploy the SMH. Usually to servers that are already up to date.

Re: SIM5.1 Newbie
Thanks. Is it ok to apply the agents without rebooting?
