SIM5 Authorization Failures
Hello - I'm trying to do a Status Polling on the Hardware and Software of all the servers in SIM5 and i'm recieving the error "You do not have authorization for this tool and/or one or more of the target systems.."
I've recently upgraded to version 5 from 4.2 sp2 - This used to work perfectly on version 4.2 and ever since i updated it gives me this.. I've checked the security settings for the user i'm using - who in which is a domain admin and apart of every servers Admin group i'm trying to touch.. Could someone please shed some insight on this?
Thanks.

Re: SIM5 Authorization Failures
HPSIM has its own internal controls, nothing to do with domain accounts.
Check under the Options -> Security -> Users and Authorizations tab and then check that the account is Authorized for all CMS Systems for all tools.

Re: SIM5 Authorization Failures
Hi Rob - Thanks for the reply - I checked under "All Authorizations" and found all the accounts that i had added to HPSIM - The account i'm using says under Toolbox "All Tools - then under systems it has 2 items "CMS" and "All Managed Systems"..
