SIM5 SP5 SQL installation
I am trying to install HP SIM5 SP5 onto a new server talking to a SQL db. I have setup a local AD account and given it local admin rights on the SIM server.
A db has been created on the SQL server for use with HP SIM.
When I try to install SIM I point it at the db server and I get an error message insufficient rights to database. The database has a AD user (same one used by SIM) which has dbo rights to the database.
Any ideas whats going wrong?

Re: SIM5 SP5 SQL installation
The AD user should have administrative privilege on the system that hosts the SQL server too.

Re: SIM5 SP5 SQL installation
You do not create the database for SIM. The installation program does that for you. At the database credentials screen you must specify master as the database name.
