Smart Update manager issues

i use SUM for deploying firmware to all my blades.

however i have found the latest version to realy unreliable 3.5.0.

when i log on to my deployment server i continualy get error messages saying 2 smart update manager encounted a problem and had to close" smart update manager repoitory client encounterd a problem and had to close"

when it finaly run's it is hit and miss if it works normaly just closing after it has done it's scan and starts to deploy the software.

i have tried running it on another server and downloading a new version with the same problems.

i have checked but can not see where any of these services run

any help would be great
