Is it possible to send SMS messages with HP SIM ?

If yes, how to set this up ?

Hello

A couple of our customer have this option implemented and work ok. But for this is not enought HP SIM, you need some other devices or application wich can send SMS when e-mail notification occure.

What you need to do is this:

- have an external e-mail system (Notes, Exchange etc.) that can do SMTP relay

- setup SIM Alerts to be forwarded to an e-mail address

- get the e-mail address of your mobile phone (e.g. yournumber@vodafone.de)

- setup this e-mail address as the destination address in the alert forwarding options.
