SNMP Not Functional
In My environement , We have 2003 windows running on HP servers . I'm getting frequent error of SNMP service thats related to HP system management tool .
ERROR MSG :
SNMP not functional AppManager failed to retrieve the following information from SNMP Thermal status. OK System fan status. OK CPU fan status. OK NIC status. FAILED IDA status. OK RIB condition. OK RIB status. OK This will prevent monitoring of the affected components One or more of the following actions may resolve the issue.
I checked the server and its NIC , its running fien for many days without any issue. And i checked the SNMP service , its getting restarted automatically at frequent time interval , but no other event from any application /user was happened at that time. i want to know why the service is restarting automatically frequently & how we can avoid it in future.
Please some one suggest me...

Re: SNMP Not Functional
I've had this issue before, upgrading to the latest Proliant Support Pack resolved the issue, latest is v8.15.
