SNMP test trap to SIM

Hi,

I would like to send a test snmp trap everytime a server gets newly built so that I dont need to rely on discovery job to find the system...
Too much ip address ranges update happening recently , so I cant really keep tracking on new subnet creation/deletion etc...

Please advise for the best practice to manage this...

hi,

you can select "Automatically discover a system when an event is received from it" in the "General Settings for All Discoveries" section, dependant on whether snmp is enabled in the global protocol settings or that the ip range is excluded.
