SSH Configuration

What would cause me to get this error message when I run "configure or Repair agent." The password ids correct because I login and verify that the password is right.

"Failed to configure SSH for host based authentication Configuration failed to complete due to the following exception:
Ssh Operation failed for node:supercad. password authentication failed:FAILED"
