Is the database postgresql supported if I want to implement storage essentials enterprise on HP SIM 5.0 for Linux

As per my knowledge,
PostgreSQL is supported on HP-UX or Linux CMS.
PostgreSQL 8.0.x is not supported on HP Systems Insight Manager 5.0

I have running HP SIM 5.0 with the postgresql database on a Linux system.
You can download this from HP.

I want to integrate storage essentials with HP SIM 5.0 on Linux with the postgresql database.

If I look through the specs of HP storage essentials the postgresql isn't on the supported list of databases.

Is this correct?

That is correct. Storage Essentials requires Oracle.
