SUM (Smart Update Manager) fatal error
I have a recent install of SIM 5.3 SP1 on a 64bit Win2008 server. I am looking to start using SUM to deploy PSPs to all my Proliant servers. When I try to run hpsum from either the ocmmand line or win explorer, I get a fatal error immediately. Is SUM 64bit compatible?

Re: SUM (Smart Update Manager) fatal error
Try running setup.exe from the PSP, this links to the Smart Update manager.
Also HPSIM can deploy PSPs as well.

Re: SUM (Smart Update Manager) fatal error
Sean,
You must have WOW64 enabled as HPSUM is still a 32-bit app. If your 64-bit server does not have WOW64 enabled, HPSUM installation will fail with a Fatal Error as indicated.
